Robert Cramer (Swiss politician)

Robert Christian Cramer ( born February 7, 1954 in Amsterdam ) is a Swiss politician (Greens).

Biography

In 1985, Robert Cramer in the Grand Council ( Grand Conseil ) of the Canton of Geneva was for the Greens, the cantonal party president he was in the years 1988 to 1990, elected, where he remained until 1993. In the years 1995-1997 Cramer was a member of the Geneva City Council.

As a representative of the Green Party, he was in 1997 as a member of the cantonal executive, the Geneva State Council ( Conseil d' Etat), elected and confirmed in the 2001 elections and 2005. In 2009 he retired from the State Council.

The Swiss Parliament elections on 21 October 2007, he was elected as the first representative of the Greens in the Senate. On April 21, 2012, he was elected to the vice-presidency of four of the Green Party of Switzerland. On 23 October, he was confirmed in the Swiss parliamentary elections in 2011 in his office.
