Robert Feke

Robert Feke (* 1705 in Oyster Bay, Long Iceland, † 1750) was a major North American painters of the first half of the 18th century. He wrote meaningful group portraits from the early days of the United States. He created in 1749 the first known self-portrait in painting North America.
