Robert Jarni

Robert Jarni ( born October 26, 1968 in Čakovec, SFR Yugoslavia, now Croatia ) is a former Yugoslav- Croatian footballer and current coach.

Career

Robert Jarni began his career at Hajduk Split. In addition to numerous club success, he has also left a big mark in the Croatian national team. It was used in 81 games for Croatia, the most-capped player which made him between June 13th 2002 and 18 June 2006 ( Dario Simic since then with now 100 games ), and he scored in these two goals. Jarni came in 1990 at the World Championships in Italy for Yugoslavia in a game used and played after the disintegration of the multinational state until the 2002 World Cup for Croatia. After his last operation against Ecuador on 13 June 2002 Robert Jarni announced his retirement from international football. Jarni was known during his playing career, always for its speed. In a game in which he played against Stefan Reuter, who was also very fast, he ran over this again and again with ease.
