Robert Johnston (American politician)

Robert Johnston ( born October 14, 1818 in Rockbridge County, Virginia; † November 6, 1885 in Harrisonburg, Virginia ) was a Confederate politician.

Johnston was active before the outbreak of the Civil War in the State Legislature of Virginia, and represented by the secession of his state this in the provisional, the 1st and 2nd Konföderiertenkongress. After the war he was from 1880 to 1885 served as a judge in Virginia.

Johnston died in Harrisonburg, Virginia from tuberculosis and was buried in Woodbine Cemetery.
