Robert Kerr (writer)
Robert Kerr ( * 1755 in Roxburghshire, Scotland, † October 11, 1813 in Edinburgh, Scotland) was a Scottish physician and in later life a scientifically -working author, translator and zoologist.
Life
Kerr studied at the University of Edinburgh medicine and worked as a surgeon at the Edinburgh Foundling Hospital. He translated several scientific works into English. In 1794 he resigned his post as a surgeon to operate a paper mill.
