Robert Lowery (actor)

Robert Lowery (actually Robert Larkins Hank, born October 17, 1913 in Kansas City, Missouri, † December 26, 1971 in Los Angeles, California ) was an American actor. He is best known for his roles as Batman in Batman and Robin Serial from the year 1949.

Career

Lowery visited in his home town, the " Paseo High School " and began his artistic career as a singer of " Slats Randall Orchestra". He also played in a division club team baseball. When he moved to his father's death to Los Angeles with his mother, he began a career as a performer, usually led him to roles in over 70 films in genre works with low production budget, as well as many appearances in serial. First, however, he was active on stage until he was taken from the 1937 Twentieth Century Fox under contract. With the film The Mummy's Ghost, he also played in a representative of Universal Horror. In 1956 he was in an episode of Superman - knight in shining armor a guest appearance. In addition to his film career, he was still active on the stage and also took exposures of television true, for example, in the series Circus Boy 1956/1957. Lowery died at the age of 58 of heart failure.

Lowery was married three times, inter alia, with the colleague Jean Parker.
