Robert Middleton

Robert Middleton ( born May 13, 1911 in Cincinnati, Ohio as Samuel G. Messer, † June 14, 1977 in Encino, California ) was an American actor.

Life

Robert Middleton studied at several universities and came after his military service during the Second World War as a speaker for broadcasting. Starting in 1954, Middleton also appeared as an actor in movies. He was mostly set to the role of the heavyweight villains, often in Western, but also in comedies. He began his career with over forty in On a day like any other. In the same year he played in The Court Jester (1955 ) the duel by Danny Kaye, the " grimm - horrible - horrible - Griswold ", where he was part of a legendary word game. In The Treasure of the hanged man (1957 ) with Robert Taylor, he played an important supporting role. Beginning of the 70s he finished after a gig in The angels eat beans with Bud Spencer his career.

Robert Middleton died in 1977 at the age of 66 of a heart attack.
