Robert Niestroj

Robert " Pico " Niestroj ( born December 2, 1974 in Opole, Poland ) is a German football player.

Career

His first steps in the field of youth were at TSV Eller 04, where his talent was recognized early and he moved to Fortuna Dusseldorf 1991.

After several years with consistently good performances moved to the winter break of the 1998/99 season for 1,200,000 DM to England to Wolverhampton Wanderers. Further stations were 1 FC Nuremberg, Iraklis Thessaloniki, Fortuna Dusseldorf, Sachsen Leipzig, UMF Grindavíkur and Preußen Münster. Last Niestroj Robert played the second Greek League at Panserraikos FC. In the 2007 /08 season he played for the North Rhine Oberliga SV Straelen.

Niestroj has worked as a coach at youth level at Fortuna Dusseldorf.
