Robert Wisdom

Robert Wisdom ( born September 14, 1953 in Washington, DC ) is an American actor.

Life

Robert Wisdom was born as the son of Jamaican parents. The second of three children, he grew up in Washington, DC on. He attended St. Alban 's School and decided in his academic career, against his athletic scholarship as a runner and for the Columbia University. There he made in 1976 with a degree in history and sociology. During his senior year, he began acting at the university and decided against the advice of his teachers for a bank training. After a few years, returned to Washington, where he produced for National Public Radio shows and occasionally also organized theater productions. Thus he came to London, where he was encouraged to take acting more seriously. He auditioned for various theater productions and was able to successfully participate in some. He gave up his job and was from 1990 for several years traveling to different theaters England and Scotland.

With his first film role in the comedy Blackout - A detective looking at himself, at the side of Kevin Pollak, James Earl Jones and Dana Carvey, began his Hollywood career. He had since been in the body of the enemy, The Apartment fright and Ray seen in successful films, and played major roles in television series such as The Wire, Prison Break, Supernatural, Happy Town and Nashville.
