Roberto M. Levingston

Roberto Marcelo Levingston Laborda ( born January 19, 1920 in San Luis, Argentina) is an Argentine military and was dated June 18, 1970 to March 22, 1971 de facto President of the Republic of Argentina.

After it came to a weakening of the military junta by popular uprisings in 1969, was as a result, in June 1970 President Juan Carlos Onganía by Alejandro Agustín Lanusse, who was chief of the armed forces at this time discontinued. Lanusse appointed General Levingston as the new president.

After renewed uprisings Levingston end of March, after only half a year itself replaced in 1971 by Alejandro Agustín Lanusse.
