Roberto Orci

Roberto Orci ( born July 20, 1973 in Mexico City, Mexico) is a Mexican screenwriter and film producer.

Life

Roberto Orci is the son of a Mexican father and a mother originating from Cuba. His brother, J. R. Orci is also active as a producer and writer. His step-sister, Courtney Ford, is an actress and the wife of Brandon Routh. The Orcis left Mexico in 1983, first settled in Texas and later in California. Orci studied at the University of Texas at Austin.

The author Alex Kurtzman Orci began to work for various television series since 1995, and wrote screenplays including for Xena, Hercules or Alias ​​- The Agent. Her first major film was staged by Michael Bay action film The Island. Following Orci and Kurtzman wrote, inter alia, the screenplays for the first two Transformers movies, and for the 2013 -produced science fiction film Star Trek Into Darkness.
