Roberto Sosa (poet)

Roberto Sosa ( born April 18, 1930 in Yoro, † 23 May, 2011 Tegucigalpa ) was a Honduran writer.

Life

Sosa came from very humble circumstances; Already as a child he had to cooperate in order to support his family. From his youth date the first attempts at writing. Slowly and steadily its reputation grew, and with his appointment as editor of the magazine " Presente " he had reached a first peak of his career.

As such, he was responsible for a number of years later at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Honduras ( Tegucigalpa ) as a lecturer. He lived most recently as a freelance writer in the capital of his home country.
