Robin Hood's Bay

Robin Hood's Bay ( German: Robin Hood's Bay ) is a small fishing village on the British North Sea coast in the south of the town of Whitby. The local and traditional name of the village is Bay Town, and it is uncertain whether Robin Hood was ever in this place.

The Wine -haven profile of Robin Hood's Bay is the Global Boundary Stratotype Section and Point ( GSSP: corresponds to about one type of profile ) of the Pliensbachian, the time from 189.6 to 183 Millionen years BC, one of the four chronographic sub-stages of the lower Jurassic.
