Robin Tallon

Robert Mooneyhan " Robin " Tallon Jr. ( born August 8, 1946 in Hemingway, Williamsburg County, South Carolina) is an American politician. Between 1983 and 1993 he represented the state of South Carolina in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Career

Robin Tallon visited until 1964 the High School in Dillon. He then studied for two years at the University of South Carolina in Columbia. In 1994 he made a degree from the American University. Tallon operation after studying a chain of clothing stores. He was also active in the real estate industry.

Politically, he was a member of the Democratic Party. From 1979 to 1980 he was a member of a working group präsidentialen ( White House Conference on Small Business ). From 1980 to 1982 he sat as an MP in the House of Representatives from South Carolina. In 1982 he was in the sixth constituency of South Carolina in the U.S. House of Representatives in Washington DC chosen, where he became the successor of the defeated in the election Republican John Light Napier on 3 January 1983. After four elections he could pass in Congress until January 3, 1993 five legislative sessions. There he was at times a member of the Agriculture Committee and the Committee, which dealt with the Merchant Marine and Fisheries. He also served as Chairman of the Tourism Committee.

In 1992, Tallon gave up another run for Congress. Today, he is a board member of a body operating in Washington consulting firm.
