Rod Humble

Rodvik Humble ( born June 1, 1964), known as Rod, is an American game designer and manager. Among other things, he was CEO of the U.S. software company Linden Lab, as well as Vice - President of the computer game maker Electronic Arts.

Career

Humble since 1990, game developers, mainly known for his work at Electronic Arts, where he was chief of the label EA Play the development of The Sims 2 and The Sims 3. Previously, he worked among others at Virgin Interactive and Sony Online Entertainment, where he was involved in the development of the online role-playing game EverQuest. Rod Humble is also developing its own experimental games like The Marriage, Stars Over Half Moon Bay and Last Thoughts of the Aurochs.

On 23 December 2010 was Linden Lab, operator of the virtual world Second Life, announced that Humble would take over the position of CEO of the Company from January 2011. In January 2014 it was announced that Humble had left the company again.
