Rödelheim Hartreim Projekt

Roedelheim Hartreim Project ( RHP ) was a German hip- hop band.

History

Roedelheim Hartreim project was founded by Moses Pelham and Thomas Hofmann in 1993 and is named after the Rödelheim district. Together with Martin Haas and his partner Robert Sattler, the duo worked in the same year the debut album direct from Roedelheim, which appeared the following year, and sold in 1994 more than 160,000 times.

1996 the duo released the sequel Return to Roedelheim. He sold in the first year over 180,000 times and went straight to number 3

Despite the success, the band broke up after two studio albums and a live CD. It should have a third studio album by the two appear, which should bear the name "Odyssey in Roedelheim ". This album was never released. Moses Pelham then brought out his solo album Share the Pain 1, which actually should be one of Thomas Hofmann follow as Shared pain 2. Since Thomas Hofmann album but never completed it, Moses Pelham himself published in 2004 his second solo album under this title.

Eleven years after the release of the debut album, it was the golden gramophone award for direct from Roedelheim.
