Roewe 750 (2006-2011)

The Roewe 750 is a car of the Chinese brand Roewe. The car is a visually and technically revised Rover 75 In the export the model using the badge engineering is offered as MG 750.

The car look different both in front and in the rear area of the Rover 75 In addition, the wheelbase as well as the overall length of about four inches was extended, which has shifted the car into the upper middle class. The real middle class took the newly developed Roewe 550.

The standard engine is a 1.8 - liter turbo engine with 118 kW, which is that of the former Rover 75 is similar. The most powerful variant of the model consists of a 2.5-liter V6 engine, which has an output of 135 kW. The trim levels in entertainment have been extended. ESP is not available, with up to four airbags provides the Roewe 750, two less than the original Rover 75 and the parallel offered MG 7

The original plan was to sell the Roewe 750 from fall 2008 through the dealer network of the SsangYong Motor Company in Germany. Ssangyong presented above, however, a distribution of its cars in Germany.

2010 presented the SAIC at the Shanghai Motor Show in a revised Roewe 750 This will soon go into series production. The year before, SAIC had there presents the first model versions with hybrid drive and also in a pure electric version of the world public.
