Roger E. Mosley

Roger Earl Mosley ( born December 18, 1938 in Los Angeles, California) is an American actor who was best known for the role of helicopter pilot Theodore " TC" Calvin on the television series Magnum.

Life

Mosley began his acting career in 1971 with guest roles in various television series. The mid-1970s he had roles in feature films like McQ to fail with John Wayne, Mr. Universe, one of the first films of Arnold Schwarzenegger and I am the greatest with Muhammad Ali. In 1976 he played the title role in Gordon Parks Leadbelly, in which he embodied the singer Huddie William Ledbetter, known as Leadbelly. By the end of the 1970s was followed by other guest appearances on television series.

He gained worldwide recognition in 1980 for his role of the TC in the television series Magnum next to Tom Selleck and John Hillerman. Until 1988, he played in 161 episodes of the series, resulted in a series directed and wrote the screenplay for another episode. Since the end of the series he played mainly other guest roles. Between 1999 and 2000 he was in 22 episodes of the series Rude Awakening - for Adults Only! the role of the Milton Johnson.
