Roger Taillibert

Roger Taillibert ( born January 21, 1926 in Châtres -sur- Cher Loir -et -Cher ) is a French architect.

Life

Taillibert is mainly active in the field of construction of sports infrastructure. In 1963 he founded his own architectural office in Paris. He is especially known for his reconstruction of the Parc des Princes stadium in Paris, and the construction of the Olympic Stadium in Montreal.

In 1976 he was awarded the Architecture Award Grand prix national de l'architecture, as well as the Legion of Honour and the National Order of Merit, which is awarded by the French Government.
