Rogožarski PVT

The Rogožarski PWT ( Serbian Cyrillic Рогожарски ПВТ ) was a Yugoslav training aircraft for fighter pilots, produced by Rogožarski, which came into use in the 1930s. The main wing was designed and swept into high-wing design.

Development

It was designed by a development group, which consisted of Rudolf Fizir, Kosta Sivčev, Adem Biscevic, Ljubomir Ilić and Sima Milutonović. 1934 flew the prototype for the first time and in the same year the production of the PWT was launched. Since they had good-natured flight characteristics and was even suitable for aerobatics, large numbers were produced by it.

From this type also equipped with alloy floats version appeared for the Yugoslav Navy, which also went into production. The name for this machine was PHE -H. Developing the PWT was P -100.

When the German Wehrmacht invaded Yugoslavia in 1941, there were still 57 PWT in use by the troops.
