Roketsan Cirit

Cirit is a missile weapon with laser steering system.

Cirit was developed by the Turkish company Roketsan and has a range of 8 km. Are used the rockets in the Turkish attack helicopter T -129 Atak for defense against ground targets such as tanks. You can not only used as an air - to-ground missile, but also of land vehicles or ground platforms be fired. At 70 mm it has the same caliber as some of unguided rockets. Roketsan negotiated with the Australian Department of Defence the possible sale of the weapon system Cirit. Furthermore Roketsan has agreed with Eurocopter, a test program for the Eurocopter EC635.
