Roland Németh

Roland Németh ( born September 19, 1974 in Szombathely ) is a Hungarian sprinter.

At the European Athletics Championships in Munich in 2002, he won the 100m, first to fourth place lying, subsequently the bronze medal after the first place winner Dwain Chambers was disqualified for doping.

At the World Athletics Championships in 1999 in Seville and 2003 in Paris / Saint -Denis, at the 2004 Olympics in Athens and at the European Championships 2006 in Gothenburg Németh reached the quarterfinals over the same distance.

2002, 2006 and 2007, he was Hungarian champion over 100 m, 1999 and 2005, about 200 m. In the hall, he won national titles in 2000 and 2004 over 60 m, 1998, 1999 and 2000, about 200 m.
