Roland Schlinger ( born September 17, 1982 in Vienna) is an Austrian handball player. Its body length is 1.92 m.

Yaw, who for the German Club HBW Balingen- Weilstetten ( shirt number 10) and plays for the Austrian men's national handball team ( shirt number 21) runs, is usually used in the left back.

Roland began rolling in his hometown at the National League club Post SV with the handball game. At age 17, he moved to the HLA Club West Vienna, where he also debuted in the first team before he moved to A1 Bregenz 2002. With the men from Lake Constance he won in 2004, 2005 and 2006, the Austrian championship in 2003 and 2006 as well as the Austrian Cup. In 2006 he spent a year with the Spanish top club Ademar León, where he indeed 2007 moved into the final of the European Cup Winners' Cup, but could not prevail, and in 2007 again returned to Bregenz. In 2008 and 2009 he won the Austrian championship with Bregenz. In the summer of 2010 he joined the German Bundesliga HBW Balingen- Weilstetten.

Roland Schlinger has been disputed 155 caps for the Austrian men's national handball team. He participated in the European Handball Championship 2014.
