Roller container

The roll-off transport system ( ACTS) takes the combined road - rail an important place.

The ACTS combines the popular on the street Abrollcontainertransport with the rail. The easy-to -use system allows the rapid turnover of roll-off containers between trucks and trains and thereby requires no stationary charging devices ( stacker cranes ). Loads with a maximum mass of up to 17.8 t can thus be moved.

Description

The roll-off is a cargo box on wheels, the subframe is standardized. Its construction can be very different depending on the use ( within the standard dimensions). The ACTS containers are in an open or covered version, available with hinged doors or RID -approved, tight flap and as a press containers, construction waste containers, etc..

For road transport, the Roller containers a truck with bahngeprüftem chain or hook device is needed (also called " dispenser " ), which allows the assembly, unloading and reloading. The railway companies provide the ACTS wagons with rotating frame available. Pivoting guide rails on the wagon allow a simple transfer of ACTS container.

Such containers are often used as refuse collection container, for example, glass, paper, construction waste and industrial waste. In this case, these containers are set up directly with the waste suppliers and replaced if necessary. The waste paper containers there are also those that are connected with a press, so that the container carries more waste.

Standardization

Roll-off containers are standardized in DIN 30722 by the Standards Committee Municipal Services ( NKT). The first parts are by different weight classes organized ( part 1 to 26 t 2 to 32 t part, part 3 to 16 t), they were first issued in April 1993 and revised in the current issue of February 2007. The part 4 deals with intermodal transport by road and rail, in the still current issue of July 1994.

Abrollbehälter have a 45 ° upwards pointing hook with cross brace at the height 1570 mm. The rollers have a padding of 1560 and an outdoor distance of 2160 mm. The width of the container usually depends on the ISO containers, there are also racks for charging of sea containers for further transport as roll-off containers. The length of the DIN - roll-off follows a 250 - mm intervals from 4000 mm to 7000 mm. The height is not standardized, stacking as in shipping containers is not regularly provided.
