Romain Lemarchand

Romain Lemarchand (born 26 July 1987) is a French road racing cyclist.

Romain Lemarchand 2008 was third in a stage of the Tour Nivernais Morvan in Fourchambault. End of the season he went for the French Continental team Auber 93 internships, but did not get a contract for the following season. The next year, Lemarchand was French champion in individual time trial of the U23 class. End of the year, he again ascended as a stagiaire for Auber 93 and this time received a contract for the following season.

Romain Lemarchand is the son of François Lemarchand, who was a professional cyclist from 1985 to 1997. He drove for the French teams Fagor, Z and Gan. He won stages at the Route du Sud, the Milk Race, at the Quatre Jours de Dunkerque and the Grand Prix Midi Libre. He was also in the one-day race Tour de Vendée successfully in 1990.
