Roman Catholic Diocese of Aného

The diocese Aného (Latin Dioecesis Anehensis ) is a Roman Catholic diocese in Togo, bishopric is Aného. The diocese comprises 2712 km ² and 820,000 inhabitants, of whom about 22% Roman Catholic faith. In the 23 parishes of the Archdiocese had 2006: 46 diocesan and 11 religious priests. The diocese was separated from the Archdiocese of Lomé on 1 July 1994.
