Roman Catholic Diocese of Azul

The Diocese of Azul (Latin: Dioecesis Azulensis, Spanish: diócesis de Azul ) is a location in Argentina Roman Catholic diocese based in Azul.

History

The Diocese of Azul was posted on April 20, 1934 by Pope Pius XI. built with the Papal Bull Nobilis Argentinas Tinae Nationis Ecclesia out of territory of the Archdiocese of La Plata, and this is a suffragan. On February 11, 1957, the Diocese of Azul gave parts of its territory to the founding of the Diocese of Nueve de Julio.
