Roman Catholic Diocese of Bayombong

The Diocese of Bayombong (Latin: Dioecesis Bayombongensis ) is a location in the middle of the island of Luzon in the Philippines Roman Catholic diocese based in Bayombong. It includes the provinces of Nueva Vizcaya and Quirino.

History

Pope Paul VI. founded the Territorialprälatur Bayombong with the Apostolic Constitution Patris instar on 7 November in 1966 of territory of the Diocese of Tuguegarao and it became the Archdiocese of Nueva Segovia assumed as suffragan.

On September 21, 1974, was part of the ecclesiastical province of the Archdiocese of Tuguegarao. With the Apostolic Constitution Cum Decessores 15 November 1982, it was elevated to the bishopric.
