Roman Catholic Diocese of Campanha

The Diocese of Campanha (Latin: Dioecesis Campaniensis in Brasilia ) is a located in Brazil Roman Catholic diocese based in Campanha, Minas Gerais.

History

The Diocese of Campanha was established on September 8, 1907 by Pope Pius X with the Papal Bull spirituality Fidelium out of territory of the Diocese of São Paulo and the Archdiocese of Mariana is a suffragan. On 21 May 1960, the Diocese of Campanha were parts of its territory from the foundation of the diocese of São João del Rei. The Diocese of Campanha was placed under the Archdiocese of Pouso Alegre, suffragan on 14 April 1962.
