The diocese Caratinga (Latin: Dioecesis Caratingensis ) is a location in Brazil the Roman Catholic Diocese based in Caratinga in the state of Minas Gerais.

History

The diocese Carat Inga was born on December 15, 1915 by Pope Benedict XV. built with the Papal Bull Romani Pastoral Pontificis officium of cessions of territory of the diocese Amazon. On 1 February 1956, the diocese Caratinga were parts of its territory from the foundation of the built with the Apostolic Constitution Rerum usu Diocese of Governador Valadares.
