The Diocese of Chitre (Latin: Dioecesis Citrensis ) is a Roman Catholic diocese based in Chitre, Panama.

Pope John XXIII. it founded on July 21, 1962 from cessions of territory of the Archdiocese of Panama and imputed it this suffragan. It includes the provinces of Herrera and Los Santos.
