Roman Catholic Diocese of Hinche

The Diocese of Hinche (Latin: Dioecesis Hinchensis ) is a location in Haiti Roman Catholic diocese based in Hinche.

History

The Diocese of Hinche was established on 31 January 1991 by Pope Paul VI. cessions of territory from the dioceses of Les Gonaïves and Cap -Haïtien, where it was a suffragan. On 31 January 1991, lost part of the territory of the Diocese of Fort - Liberté.
