Roman Catholic Diocese of Istmina–Tadó
The diocese Istmina - Tadó (Latin: Dioecesis Istminanus - Taduanus, Spanish: diócesis de Istmina - Tadó ) is a location in Columbia Roman Catholic diocese based in Istmina.
History
The diocese Istmina - Tadó was posted on November 14, 1952 by Pope Pius XII. built with the Papal Bull Cum Usu Quotidiano out of territory of the Apostolic Prefecture of Chocó as Apostolic Vicariate Istmina. On April 30, 1990, the Apostolic Vicariate Istmina was elevated by Pope John Paul II to the diocese and renamed diocese Istmina - Tadó. It is the Archdiocese of Santa Fe de Antioquia is a suffragan.
