Roman Catholic Diocese of Jujuy
The Diocese of Jujuy (Latin: Dioecesis Iuiuyensis, Spanish: diócesis de Jujuy ) is a location in Argentina Roman Catholic diocese based in San Salvador de Jujuy.
History
The Diocese of Jujuy was posted on April 20, 1934 by Pope Pius XI. built with the Papal Bull Nobilis Argentinas Tinae Nationis out of territory of the Archdiocese of Salta and this is a suffragan. On September 8, 1969, the Diocese of Jujuy gave parts of its territory establishing the Territorialprälatur Humahuaca.
