Roman Catholic Diocese of Kikwit

The Roman Catholic Diocese of Kikwit (Latin: Dioecesis Kikuitensis ) is in the ecclesiastical province of Kinshasa in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The bishop's seat is located in the city of Kikwit.

It emerged from the Apostolic Vicariate of Kikwit on 10 November 1959 its origin in 1893 established mission sui juris of Koango lay (1903 Apostolic Prefecture, 1928 Apostolic Vicariate, since 1955 under the name of Kikwit ). Since 1986, Edouard Mununu Kasiala is the diocesan bishop.
