The diocese Mbinga (Latin: Dioecesis Mbingaensis ) is a location in Tanzania Roman Catholic diocese based in Mbinga.

History

The diocese was erected Mbinga on 22 December 1986 by Pope John Paul II with the Apostolic Constitution Id proprium of cessions of territory of the Diocese of Songea and the Archdiocese of Dar es Salaam is a suffragan. First bishop was Emmanuel Mapunda.
