Roman Catholic Diocese of Moroto

The diocese of Moroto (Latin: Dioecesis Morotoensis ) is a location in Uganda Roman Catholic diocese based in Moroto.

History

The diocese of Moroto was born on March 22, 1965 by Pope Paul VI. with the Apostolic Constitution Ex quo Christ built from cessions of territory of the diocese of Gulu. On May 20, 1991, the diocese of Moroto were parts of its territory from the foundation of the Diocese of Kotido.

The diocese of Moroto is the Archdiocese of Tororo is a suffragan.
