Roman Catholic Diocese of Pala

The Diocese of Pala (Latin: Dioecesis Palaensis ) is a facility located in Chad Roman Catholic diocese based in Pala.

History

The Diocese of Pala was founded on December 19, 1956 by Pope Pius XII. with the Apostolic Constitution Christo Qui iubente out of territory of the Diocese of Garoua built as Apostolic Prefecture of Pala. The Apostolic Prefecture Pala was founded on January 16, 1964 by Pope Paul VI. charged with the Apostolic Constitution Christ fidelium to the diocese and the Archdiocese of N'Djamena, is a suffragan.
