Roman Catholic Diocese of Pingliang

The Diocese of Pingliang (Latin: Dioecesis Pimliamensis ) is a Roman Catholic diocese based in Pingliang in the People's Republic of China.

History

Pope Pius IX. founded with the Breve Longinquis in regionibus the Apostolic Prefecture of Pingliang on January 25, 1930 annexations of the Apostolic Vicariate of Qinzhou. With the Apostolic Constitution Indefesso constantique it was raised on April 11, 1946 Diocese. The only official bishop Gregorio Ignacio Larrañaga Lasa OFM Cap ( 1930-1975 ).
