Roman Catholic Diocese of Purnea

The Diocese of Purnea (Latin: Dioecesis Purneaensis ) is a Roman Catholic diocese in India. It is a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Patna.

History

The diocese was erected in areas of the Diocese of Dumka on 27th June 1998. First bishop was Vincent Barwa.
