Roman Catholic Diocese of Pyongyang

The Diocese of Pyongyang (Latin: Dioecesis Pyeongyangensis, kor. 천주교 평양 교구 ) is a location in North Korea diocese of the Roman Catholic church located in Pyongyang.

The diocese was on 10 March 1962 by Pope John XXIII. built. Previously, it had been founded in 1927 as the Apostolic Prefecture in 1939 and elevated to the Apostolic Vicariate.
