History

The Diocese of Saint Catharines was posted on November 22, 1958 by Pope John XXIII. with the Apostolic Constitution Qui Deo volente built out of territory of the Archdiocese of Toronto and of the Diocese of Hamilton and the Archdiocese of Toronto is a suffragan.
