History
The Diocese of Saint- Jérôme was born on June 23, 1951 by Pope Pius XII. built with the Apostolic Constitution Ad catholicum out of territory of the Diocese of Mont- Laurier and the Archdioceses of Montreal and Ottawa. It was the Archdiocese of Montréal is a suffragan.
