Roman Catholic Diocese of São LuÃz de Cáceres
The Diocese of São Luiz de Cáceres (Latin: Sancti Dioecesis Aloisii de Caceres ) is a Roman Catholic diocese based in Cáceres in the Brazilian state of Mato Grosso.
The diocese is a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Cuiabá was founded on April 5, 1910. In 1925, the Diocese of the Amazon, and later the Prelature of Porto Velho, outsourced; In 1929 the spin-off of the Prelature Guajará -Mirim.
