Roman Catholic Diocese of Tacuarembó

The diocese Tacuarembó (Latin: Dioecesis Tacuarembianus ) is a located in Uruguay Roman Catholic diocese based in Tacuarembó. It is under the church legally and organizationally the Archdiocese of Montevideo. Diocesan Bishop Julio César Bonino Bonino.

History

The diocese Tacuarembó emerged from a part of the Diocese of Florida area and was built on 22 October 1960. To the diocese include sixteen parishes in which about 126 567 Roman Catholics are located. Your pastoral care ensure twelve diocesan priests and eleven Fathers. They are supported by eight deacons in the permanent diaconate, forty six sisters and fifteen friars.
