Roman Catholic Diocese of Yantai

Located in China Yantai diocese (Latin Dioecesis Ientaevensis ) was founded on 22 February 1894 as the Apostolic Vicariate of Scian tone Orientale, but changed its name on December 3, 1924 Apostolic Vicariate of Chefoo before it on April 11, 1946 was charged under the name Yentai to the diocese.
