Roman Catholicism in Serbia

The Roman Catholic Church in Serbia is a diaspora church.

The majority of Roman Catholics form the national minorities of Hungarians, Croats, Slovaks, Czechs, Germans and Albanians. For the Roman Catholic Church province in Serbia belongs to the Archbishopric of Belgrade, the Diocese of Srem, the Diocese of Zrenjanin and the Diocese of Subotica. Native to Serbia Greek-Catholic Christians who are predominantly to the national minorities of the Ruthenians, Ukrainians and Croatians are cared for pastorally by the Apostolic Exarchate of Serbia and Montenegro.

A historic diocese of the Roman Catholic Church in Serbia was the Apostolic Administration Jugoslavenska Bačka to which included the dioceses of Subotica and Zrenjanin. The Apostolic Administration of Prizren is located in Kosovo. The bishops of the Roman Catholic Church in Serbia are a participant of the International Bishops' Conference of the Saints Cyril and Methodius.
