Roman Romanov

Roman Vladimirovich Romanov ( Lithuanian Roma Nova Romana, Russian Роман Владимирович Романов ) is a Russian- Lithuanian Manager.

Life

Roman Romanov is the son of Lithuanian- Russian billionaire Vladimir Romanov. He studied in Lithuania, Russia and the United States ( College) and graduated from the University of International Relations in Moscow. It has both the Russian and Lithuanian citizenship.

On 31 October 2005, he is President of the Scottish football club Heart of Midlothian, as his father does not speak English, although he actively and intensively cares about the club's management.

Roman Romanov sits on boards of directors or supervisory boards of subsidiaries of the Lithuanian Group UKIO Banco investicinė grupė (investment group of UKIO bankas, ŪBIG ). To this also included the Bank UKIO bankas, which went bankrupt in 2013. In consequence, the club Heart of Midlothian came in great financial difficulties.
