The Romanian national ice hockey team is the national women's hockey national team of Romania in the women's ice hockey. In February 2011, the team was on the 31 rank of the IIHF World Ranking.

History

At the World Cup 2001, the Romanian women's team gave her World Cup debut when she finished second in qualifying for the Division II fifth place and thus participated in the Division III newly established next year. From this the national team at the 2004 World Cup went off in the Division IV, in which it competes ever since.

After 2009 in the lower divisions there has been no gaming operations and in the Olympic year of 2010 already held no Women's World Cup, the Romanians contested at the 2011 World Cup for the first time in three years a World Cup game.
