Romeo Filipović

Romeo Filipović ( born March 31, 1986 in Recklinghausen ) is a German - Croatian football player who is predominantly used as a central midfielder.

Career

From 2003 to 2005 Filipović played in the U-19 Bundesliga for Rot-Weiss Essen and MSV Duisburg. In summer 2005, he moved to VfB Homberg Oberliga, but where he came only to four inserts due to injury. In summer 2006, he joined the Romanian first division team FC Universitatea Craiova and. There, however, he did not play. After half a year, he joined the Austrian third division side SV Spittal / Drau, where he scored two goals in eight games. In summer 2007, he moved to first division Jordanian Al -Ahli. After half a year he moved to first division side FK Željezničar Bosnian Sarajevo, where he came to four inserts. In the 2008 /09 season he was back at FC Universitatea Craiova under contract. In October 2009 he signed a contract with the then Scottish second division side Ayr United, where he remained, however, even without use. In January 2010 he moved to first division Indonesian Bontang FC. A year later he signed a contract with the Croatian first division side NK Karlovac and met five times used. Already in the summer of 2011 he moved to first division club FK Sloboda Tuzla Bosnia and came up with six inserts. End of February 2012 he agreed with the financially stricken club to terminate the contract. Then he signed up to the end of the season 2011/12 the Swiss third division side FC Mendrisio- Stabio, where he shone as a template donor in eight games. In early August 2012, he joined the Slovenian first division club FC Koper. After he had first secured a regular place, it breached in November 2012 at the meniscus and had to have surgery. In early December 2012, then dissolved his contract prematurely.
